YWCA Canberra has been providing quality early childhood education and care to the ACT and surrounding region since the 1970s. We now run six early childhood services, school age care at 12 locations and family day care services.
We see early childhood education and care as an essential service to enable women to fully participate in the economy, and as an opportunity to promote children’s holistic development.
At YWCA Canberra, believe in developing community throughout the ACT and surrounding NSW regions, as demonstrated by our housing programs, community development, youth engagement, and education to prevent domestic and family violence.
Our programs work collaboratively with our community services team to identify and refer children and families that require additional support. This is part of our commitment to ensuring all children and families are supported to participate fully in our community.
