As a member of YWCA Canberra, you become a part of a global movement of 25 million women and girls across 125 countries around the world. Join us in creating a world where reconciliation, justice, peace, health, human dignity, freedom and care for the environment are promoted and sustained through women’s leadership.

Annual membership is $35 for women aged 18 and over and $15 for concession. Men are invited to join YWCA Canberra as non-voting associate members for $25 per year.

By applying for a YWCA Canberra membership you agree to the aims, values, and objectives of the association and agree to be bound by the terms of its constitution.

Your YWCA Canberra membership unlocks the opportunity to:

Nominate to be on our Board of Directors

Participate in one of our Board Committees

Apply to participate in the Board Traineeship Program

Access opportunities such as the World YWCA Internships

Access to the Great Ydeas Small Grants program

Signing up means you will also receive our eNews and YAction (you can unsubscribe at any time) and you will also be able to participate in the voting process at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), having a say in who will be on our board.

YWCA Canberra memberships run on a financial year calendar with an annual fee period from 1 July to 30 June the following year. New members are welcome at any time.

YWCA Canberra values the financial support we receive through donations. As a not-for-profit organisation we use our funding carefully to meet the needs of the Canberra community. Your donation will assist us in our work to provide important programs and services, including housing for women and their families facing homelessness and leadership opportunities for young women. All donations over $2 are tax deductable.
